Debbie's daily life has always revolved around art to some degree. She grew up with a pencil in her hand and a book in every room, ready to doodle and create. Art was, and still is, her escape and the door that she keeps open to a world of wonder and opportunity.
The act of creating (be it drawing, painting or printing) enables one to de-stress while opening up their soul and letting the world see their thoughts and feelings.
Art is healing and uplifting. It is this philosophy that Debbie Bench embeds within her daily profession as a Senior Secondary Visual Art teacher.
While fine art trained, she has explored many alternative styles, mediums and techniques.
If you can dream it, she can create it for you or teach you to do it yourself.
